The book of the foundations of philosophical counselling, basics, methods and techniques have three sections and several chapters and examines the foundations of philosophical counselling. From the authors’ point of view, these foundations include consulting, philosophy and philosophical counselling. In each of the chapters of the book, an analysis of these three foundations is made to apply the roadmap for understanding the philosophical consultant as part of applied philosophy. It will also help similar professions with counselling to use the abilities and capacities of the philosophical counselling paradigm. Before entering into the topics of the book, it is first necessary to ask: “what is philosophy” and also “ what is counselling”? by passing these two concepts in a concise way, it can be said that “philosophical counselling” is designed and implemented under the topics of applied philosophy. A set of ideas have been developed under applied philosophy, some of which are such as philosophy for children (p4c) and philosophical counselling, philocafe, and so on. It will also help similar consulting professions to use the abilities and capacities of the philosophical counselling paradigm. The authors of the book, by examining philosophy and analytic philosophy, first consider philosophy in the sense of both philosopher’s theories and philosophizing, and pay attention to a philosophy whose practical aspect is the basis for philosophical counselling. They also look at analytic philosophy from two perspectives: as a fundamental principle in the type of counselling with philosophical counselling, and as a method for philosophical counselling. In fact, the authors of the book have greatly contributed to its understanding by analyzing philosophical counselling as a helpful Profession. By examining philosophical counselling and what it is, the authors have enumerated various dimensions for it and have set the goals for philosophical counselling. This book highlights the philosophical counselling approaches, and techniques used to assist the philosophical consultant. Philosophical counselling topics answer such questions as: “what is the subject of a philosophical counselling?” “What is the scope of a philosophical consultant?” “What topics should a philosophical consultant not cover?” A chapter in this book addresses the issue that philosophical counselling as a new discipline requires content evaluation and the provision of essential materials for educating its applicants, Including consulting and philosophical backgrounds and what meets these needs. The book talks about the challenges limitations, and perspectives of philosophical counselling to make it a paradigm. The subject of the fields and dimensions of philosophical counselling can be mentioned as a unique part of the book, which has not been considered in this way so far. The last section deals with the relationship between philosophy for children(p4c) and travel with philosophical counselling and shows how the teachings of p4c and travel literature Can be used in philosophical counselling. A chapter of this book also is about the study and compilation of personal philosophy, which helps the client In the work of philosophical counselling. And part of the text of the book is allocated to the philocafe, and there are benefits to use it in this type of counselling and an executive example of it and the written evaluations of those present at the meeting. soliloquy and their types and creating a hypothetical creature to talk to, is one of the topics in this book. Part of the text of the book also uses the story and philosophical consulting to solve the problems of the clients and the story as a part of the treatment. In the fourteenth chapter, there is a thought- provoking section on writing about the books that have served as philosophical counselling, including writings about the consolations of philosophy, the wisdom of life, wilful disregard, and a number of other books. Finally, this book deals with group philosophical counselling and educational goals. And at the end of all sections of the
book, there are activities available for those interested to do.
